Taylor Guitars is seeking an engaging and customer orientated Receptionist - Bilingual (English and Spanish).

Do you believe in service with a smile? Taylor Guitars is seeking a Receptionist to oversee our entrance at our Tecate facility. As a Receptionist for Taylor Guitars, you will greet everyone that comes in our door, schedule conference rooms, forward phone calls to the appropriate department, and assist incoming applicants with the application process. If you are friendly, outgoing, and have great administrative skills then we want to hear from you!

 

Receptionist will welcome and greet customers, vendors and applicants with a great Taylor experience. Supports applicants to complete online applications using the computer kiosks in the visitor lobby. Will review, phone screen and schedule on-site interviews for the recruitment team.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Open and close front lobby at beginning and end of each day.
  • Answer incoming and in-house telephone calls, determine purpose of call and forward (and/or page) calls to appropriate personnel or department.
  • Receive and handle emails which request appointments, conference room use, upcoming deliveries and expected calls and visitors.
  • Contact travelers traveling to and from Tecate.
  • Retrieve and forward voicemail messages to appropriate recipients.
  • Take care of callers’ needs, answers general questions about Taylor Guitars and provide callers with address, directions and hours of operation etc.
  • Update pertinent documents that pertain to the management of the front reception desk area on a daily basis.
  • Schedule and coordinate special visitations for the general public. 
  • Ensure each visitor is signed in and out, has utilized a badge and returned it.
  • Provide safety glasses to visitors as needed.
  • Support in various activities of the selection process. 
  • Direct applicants to computer kiosks to apply online and assist when needed
  • Review and screen production candidates.
  • Schedule on-site interviews of production candidates.
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties as assigned. 
  • Order individual employee/guest and departments luncheons for Taylor Guitars.
  • Maintain calendars for the company’s conference rooms and company vehicles to coordinate their use.
  • Receptionist is responsible for Taylor Ware sale and records all payments.
  • Attendance reports

  • Birthday announcements and deliver bday gift to employees

Calificaciones

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Languages: Ability to communicate in English (80% Oral and Written)

Experience: One to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications. Skill of typing 40+ words per minute.
